At Helia, we are intimately engaged with the “natural medicine” edible plants can provide. Our passion for healthy eating is often interwoven throughout integral aspects of our project work. We believe strongly in the advocation of responsible food growing and look to inspire our clients to discover the incredible healing aspects of organic gardening.
We offer organic food systems from vegetable gardens and berry patches to orchards. We design, install and maintain these food systems as well as offer these services a la carte. Using ancient techniques in concert with modern scientific methods, we have been able to expand both the variety of produce as well as the length of the growing season.
For the real edible enthusiasts, we delight in working with more obscure edible plants, mixing them into native meadow, wetland and forest restoration plans. Blurring the lines between foraging and farming, we design native medicinal and edible food systems that weave into every niche of your ecosystem.
